JOW Architects is a Singapore-based inter-disciplinary architectural design practice providing full scope of architectural and interior design consultancy services. We specialize in high-end residential, hospitality, retail, and food and beverage environments.
Founded in 2014, JOW Architects is a dynamic practice led by partners Joseph Wong and Zhenwei Lai, who both have a deep passion for crafting inspiring spaces that are tailored to their client’s individuality. Through the thoughtful restrained employment of light, form, materials, colours, and textures, and the attention to details, JOW Architects desires to create meaningful built environments that are fresh, exciting, and yet relevant and timeless.

Joseph Wong is a founder and director of JOW Architects, an inter-disciplinary architectural design practice based in Singapore. Joseph is a member of the Singapore Board of Architects and is a Qualified Architect in Singapore. He received a Masters in Architecture in year 2005 and a Bachelor of Arts (Architecture) in year 2001 from the National University of Singapore. Prior to the founding of JOW Architects, Joseph has worked in SCDA Architects and Kerry Hill Architects, both internationally renowned award winning architectural firms, for a total of 9 years. During his tenure with these two esteemed firms, Joseph has honed his design talent and project management skills and has garnered strong practical construction experience while working on a diverse range of residential and hospitality projects located regionally in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Singapore.

zhenwei lai

Zhenwei Lai is the principal interior designer of JOW Architects. She received a Bachelor of Arts (Architecture) in year 2008 from the National University of Singapore.  Zhenwei began her professional career at Studio Terre, one of the leading interior design firms in Singapore that focuses on high-end luxury residential interiors. During her 7 years tenure at Studio Terre, Zhenwei had the opportunity to work on a vast range of bespoke interior projects that are tailored specifically to the needs of the client. Her expansive portfolio includes interior design works in high-end residential apartments, retail shops, and restaurants.
